About my writing style
I use a technique where I change perspectives during a story. Some call it head hopping, others POV shifts. I always have one main character whose perspective leads the story, but I enjoy showing the thoughts, emotions, and perspectives of the character's partner, and occassionally other characters. I do this because I feel the main character's partner is just as valuable to the story and deserves some of that spotlight time. Much of why I write this way stems from my own desire to learn more about other characters when I read. So in my stories, I want my main character's partner to be a wholly developed individual on his own, and to do this, I'll hop into to his head every now and again. I love exploring my characters and learning more about them in this way, and I hope you will as well.
